Our peanut candy is a time honored secret recipe and cooking process, used by The Peanut Company of Virginia since 1984. Large copper kettles are used to cook the candy to perfection. Using the copper kettles and only the finest all-natural ingredients, the result is a smooth, not too sweet, not too hard candy that tastes like buttery honey with a fun crunch and a mouthful of Virginia’s finest roasted peanuts.

In July 2006, William H. “Bill” Brown, Jr. a long-time business owner in Forest, Virginia purchased The Peanut Company of Virginia from Jerry and Pat Kelly of Hurt, Virginia.

Bill is adding products to the “Old Tyme” line that will utilize Virginia’s finest produce and ingredients.
